The government has announced winners of National Film Awards-2016.
‘Oggatonama’, director by Tauquir Ahmed and produced by Impress Telefilm, was adjudged the best picture.
Amitabh Reza won the best director for ‘Aynabaji’. Chanchal Chowdhury, the protagonist in the film, won the best actor’s award.
Afroza Imrose Tisha and Kusum Sikder were awarded as the best actresses for the films -- Ostitto and Shongkhochil respectively.
Bobita (real name Farida Akhter) and Farooque (real name Akbar Hossain Pathan) were honoured for life-time achievements, reports bdnews24.com.
