A three-day international tourism fair titled US-Bangla Airlines Chittagong Travel Mart-2017 begins in the port city of Chittagong from Thursday, said a statement.
Organised by The Bangladesh Monitor, Premier travel fortnightly of the country the 9th edition of the Chittagong travel fair is supported by the US-Bangla Airlines as the Title Sponsor.
Twenty organisations including airlines, tour operators, hotels, resorts, amusement parks and other tourism related service providers will showcase their products and services in the fair to be held at The Peninsula Chittagong.
Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation A J M Nasir Uddin will inaugurate the fair as the Chief Guest, while Mahbubul Alam, President, Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCC&I) will be present as the Special Guest. Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin, CEO, Bangladesh Tourism Board will preside over the inaugural ceremony.
US-Bangla Airlines will offer special discounts on air tickets to all of their domestic and international destinations for visitors of the fair. Other participating organisations will also offer special discounts on airfare, hotel and resort accommodations, tour packages etc. during the fair.
US- Bangla Airlines, Regent Airways, Be Fresh, Ocean Paradise Hotel, Saimon Holidays, Heaven Tours, Xinhua Bangla, Bangkok Hospital, Fortis Hospital and Heaven Tours and other local and foreign companies will participate in the Chittagong Travel Mart.
Chittagong Travel Mart will remain open for the visitors from 10.30 am to 8 pm everyday from November 16 to 18 and there will be no entry fee. Raffle draw will be everyday for the visitor offering attractive prizes including air tickets to the winners, said a statement.
