Bruno Mars is facing another lawsuit for his Grammy winning single “Uptown Funk.”

This time, a female rap trio, The Sequence, have claimed their 1979 single Funk You Up, which reached the US Billboard chart top 50, has ‘significant’ similarities to the 2014 super hit track.

A TMZ report says The Sequence have reportedly asked for a jury trial and an unspecified amount of money from Bruno Mars and songwriter Mark Ronson.

“Uptown Funk” has already been hit with multiple lawsuits, the most recent was over similarities between Zapp’s “More Bounce to the Ounce.”

In October 2016, Mars and Ronson were accused of infringing on Collage’s 1983 single “Young Girls,” according to global media reports.

In 2015, the Gap Band were awarded songwriting credits on the song after citing similarities between “Uptown Funk” and their 1979 hit “Oops Upside Your Head.”
