YSBC signs MoU with BRAU to achieve zero poverty

Yunus Social Business Center (YSBC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BR Ambedkar University (BRAU) recently.

The MoU was signed with the aim to achieve zero poverty and sustainable economic growth in rural areas through the university.  

Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus signed the MoO with Dr. BR Ambedkar University (BRAU), in Andhra Pradesh on behalf of respective sides.

The MoU was signed during the centenary conference of the Indian Economic Association at Acharya Nagarjuna University.

BRAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Koona Ramji said, "We will fix a schedule with the Yunus Social Business Center (YSBC) soon and implement programs in our students in a phased manner in rural areas".

Minister of Human Resources Development in Andhra Pradesh in India, Ganta Srinivasa Rao was present during the signing ceremony.

All Vice-Chancellors of 16 state-run universities of Andhra Pradesh were also present, among others.
