Sri Lankan professor meets IU VC

Dr Nimal Keerthi Dangalle, Professor Emeritus of University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka called on Islamic University (IU) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari at his office on the campus on Wednesday, said an IU press release.

Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) director of the university Professor Dr KM Abdus Sobhan, additional director Professor Dr Kazi Akhtar Hossain, Computer Centre director Professor Dr Paresh Chandra Barman, ICE department Professor Dr M Mahbubar Rahman, Dr M Zahidul Islam and chairman Dr M Shariful Islam among others were present on the occasion, reports BSS.

During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative, academic and research programmes between the universities.
