Second timers can seat for JU admission test, syllabus to be shorter

The opportunity to seat for a second time in the admission test of Jahangirnagar University for the first-year undergraduate students (honours) of the academic year 2021-22 remains intact. At the same time, the admission test will be taken in a short syllabus.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Academic Council on Thursday night (February 24).

At the end of the meeting, the Secretary of the JU Teachers' Association and the professor of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Md. Motahar Hossain confirmed it.

He said, "Based on the opinion of the majority at the meeting, the decision to give the opportunity of the second time admission seekers to seat for the test remains."

"The meeting has decided to take the admission test by following a short syllabus as much as possible, on which the admission aspirants concluded their HSC," further said professor Motahar Hossain.
