RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY: The Rajshahi University (RU) authorities have decided to hold admission tests in person to enrol first-year honours students for the academic session of 2020-21 despite the prevailing pandemic situation.
The decision was taken at an Academic Council meeting held at the University Senate building on Tuesday, said Professor Dr Md Fakrul Islam, Dean of Social Science Faculty of the university.
However, it is yet to decide when and how the test will be held, he added.
Details of the test will be known once the meeting of the admission test committee held, said the dean.
Earlier, the authorities of the University of Dhaka and the University of Chittagong announced to hold entrance tests in person.
