JU organises workshop on career building

A daylong carrier oriented workshop tilled ‘Career Masterclass 1.0’ was held today (Friday) on the Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus in Savar.

Rotaract Club of the university unit and Monon Foundation, a social awareness initiative, jointly organised the programme at the seminar room of Zahir Raihan auditorium.

Presided over by President of Rotaract Club of the university unit Jahirul Islam Tamim, noted mosquito researcher and also the advisor of the organisation Professor Kabirul Bashar addressed the function as the chief guest.

Besides, Chairman of JU Public Administration department Associate Professor Jebunnesa addressed the function as special guest.

At the function, the participants were imparted training on career choice, presentation, communication skills and CV writing. Brigadier General (Retd) Mirza Baker, Director of Office and Placement Romee Tareque Moudud, President of Bangladesh Organisation of Learning and Development Quazi M Ahmed delivered motivational speech about carrier development at the function, reports BSS.

Over 200 students from different schools, colleges and universities took part at the function.
