Dr Reba Mondal, Professor of Department of Law, has been appointed as the dean of Law and Shariah faculty of Islamic University in Kushtia.
She was replaced by Professor Dr Nurun Nahar, said sources at the IU registrar office on Sunday night.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed her to the post for the next two years, said IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, reports UNB.
Dr Reba took charge from the previous dean at a programme where VC Askari attended as the chief guest.
