Global Innovation & Leadership Center (GILC) will organise the Central Dhaka Event of the International Leadership Program on Education (ILPE) on 29th October 2022 at the United International University (UIU).
International Leadership Program on Education (ILPE) is a nationwide event that invites students from primary, secondary, and higher secondary levels of education and provides them with a competitive platform to showcase their proficiency in the English language and leadership skills.
GILC acknowledges the importance of blending language proficiency and leadership together, and ILPE is a pioneer in addressing the significance of such a combination.
GILC believes that ILPE will bring out the best of youth leaders from all over Bangladesh through its three assessments, which include Quizzes, Community Engagement Activities and Leadership Enhancement functions.
The program admits various skills such as presentation, public speaking, critical thinking, problem-solving, crisis management, convincing and persuasion, and general knowledge under the larger leadership skill. These skill sets are essential for an individual to become a Global Citizen. ILPE tests these skills of the students along with their English language competency.
ILPE’s preliminary round will take place across all 8 divisions of Bangladesh. The winners of ILPE will represent Bangladesh in the International Olympiad on English Language & Leadership (IOELL) in Hanoi, Vietnam, in July 2023.
The program is supported by GEIST International Foundation and GEIST Center. GILC and GEIST Center are two sister concerns of the GEIST International Foundation. GEIST International Foundation is a non-profit organisation which is spearheaded by the U.S. State Alumni community.
GILC is the youth leadership Wing of GEIST International Foundation. The organisation has youth leaders as the pioneers who try to organise programs such as ILPE to help youth showcase their potential on global platforms.
