BRUR holds seminar on research methodology

A seminar on 'Research Methodology: International Perspective' was held at the Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) in Rangpur city on Saturday.

Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute (DWRTI) of the university organised the seminar at its virtual class room of academic building no-2 in the campus, said a press release.

Director of DWRTI and Vice-chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah presided over the launching ceremony and formally inaugurated the seminar.

Senior Scientific Officer of DWRTI Dr Prasannojit Sarker delivered welcome speech in the seminar moderated by Assistant Administrator of the Public Relations, Information and Publication Division of BRUR Tabiur Rahman.

Former Secretary and Ambassador Ashraf-Ud-Dowla conducted the seminar as the Key Note Speaker.

Research fellows and officials of DWRTI, teachers and students of different departments of the university participated in the seminar.

Ambassador Ashraf-Ud-Dowla elaborately discussed about the research methodologies being followed by the researchers at the international levels and answered various questions asked by the participants.

He also forwarded suggestions to the participants for conducting international standard research activities at DWRTI of the university.

In his speech, Professor Kalimullah assured the participants of conducting more seminars of this kind in future to enrich their capacity in conducting research adopting effective methodologies to get better results.
