BRAC University signs MoU with Grameenphone

BRAC University (BRACU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Grameenphone at GP-HOUSE, Bashundhara recently to promote university-industry collaboration.

BRACU Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Ansar Ahmed and Grameenphone Chief Human Resources Officer Quazi Mohammad Shahed signed the documents on behalf of the respective sides, says a press release.

Under the MoU, BRACU students will gain experience working on collaborative practical and world-class projects in the fields of Big Data, IoT, and other emerging technologies in partnership with GP professionals.

This collaboration would be beneficial for both sides and would greatly enhance innovation through knowledge exchange. BRACU aims to play a leading role in such initiatives, which are rare in Bangladesh.

Prof Dr MA Mottalib, Chairperson, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Assistant Professor Hossain Arif, Reduan Hasan Khan, head of IoT, GP, and Masud Mushfiq Zaman, head of OD, GP, were also present.
