At least 10 activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were injured in an intra-party clash over establishing supremacy on Comilla Medical college campus early Friday.
Principal of the medical college Mohiuzzaman Chowdhury said a clash between two groups of BCL activists ensued around 2 am over establishing supremacy on the campus.
Among the injured, Toufiq was admitted to Square Hospital in the capital while Ifran to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital with severe injuries.
Five other injured were admitted to Comilla Medical College and Hospital.
Most of the students have left their dormitories as the authorities earlier asked them to leave those by 2pm on Friday, as per UNB report.
Additional police have been deployed on the campus to prevent further trouble.
