ACADEMIA awards high achievers in ‘O’&’A’ Levels

Academia, an English medium school, awarded high achievers in 'O'&'A' Levels in a ceremony held on November 22 on Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) campus in Bashundhara in the capital.

Vice Chancellor of IUB Prof M Omar Rahman distributed prizes among the students as the chief guest.

Prof Milan Pagon, pro-vice chancellor, IUB; Saidur Rahman, country director, Edexcel; Abdullah Al Mamun Liton, development manager, Edexcel; Dr M Mahabubul Haq, principal, Academia and Kutub Uddin, managing director, Academia, among others, were present on the occasion.

Every year, high achievers of Academia are given awards. In 2018, the institution awarded 256 students from ‘O’&‘A’ Levels of the Edexcel Curriculum.

 Of the total 256 awardees, 211 students were from ‘O’ Level and 45 students of were from ‘A’ Level.

Raunaque Alamgir, vice principal, Academia delivered the welcome speech. Sarwat Zeb, chairperson, Academia gave the vote of thanks.
