120 ACMP trainees receive certificate

A certificate giving ceremony of a professional course for middle-level officers of the country's IT companies, titled 'Advanced Certificate for Management Professionals (ACMP)' was held at Dhaka University's IBA Auditorium on Tuesday.

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University, in collaboration with IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Delhi of India and Bangladesh Computer Council, introduced the training course in order to increase the efficiency of IT managers of the country, according to a media release received today ( Wednesday).

Some 120 participants, who received training on People's Management and Project Management under the ACMP course, got crests and certificates.

N M Ziaul Alam, Secretary, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications & Information Technology was present as the chief guest of the certificate distribution ceremony, organised by Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance (LICT) Project.

Parthapratim Deb, Executive Director, Bangladesh Computer Council, Md Rezaul Karim, ndc, Project Director, LICT, Syed Almas Kabir, President, BASIS, and Wahidur Rahman Sharif, President, BACCO were present as special guests.

Professor Dr Syed Ferhat Anwar, Director, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka presided over the ceremony.
