Laughter is indeed the best medicine

Laughter is indeed the best medicine

LAUGHTER is the best medicine, as we used to read in the Readers Digest. But in our country, we perceive that we should not laugh aloud as it creates a bad impression about our personality. So people working in high positions in society have chosen to opt for an artificial smile. It seems that we take everything too seriously and have forgotten to laugh. But in reality humour, laughter and fun are very important elements for living a healthy life. Laughter is indeed a good and effective medicine. It allows us to move away from seriousness of a situation, have a look at its funny side, deal with it and move on. I have seen when I am with jolly people I tend to laugh more and forget about saddening thoughts and ideas of everyday life. When laughter is shared, it binds people together and increases collective happiness and intimacy. Laughter also triggers healthy physical changes in the body. Humour and laughter strengthen our immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect us from the damaging effects of stress.  I am sure no one likes the company of a grouchy man. We should always remember the following truth that laughter indeed is the best medicine.
