A virtual 3-day long youth skills development festival called BEYOND 2020 began on Thursday to celebrate International Youth Day 2020.
Inspiring Bangladesh, the 1st Bangladeshi Social Network that promotes inspirational stories of Bangladeshis around the globe in collaboration with Partnership Entrepreneurship & Skills Development Project by BIDA, is organizing the event.
With the theme of “Youth Engagement for Global Action”, the 3day virtual festival powered by Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA) and supported by Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), will consist of 12 panel discussions on Youth Skills Development, Startup Ecosystem and Investment Opportunities, joined by representatives from 10 countries.
The discussion sessions will highlight the ways in which the engagement of young people at the local, national and global levels is enriching national and multilateral institutions and processes; as well as draw lessons on how their representation and engagement in formal institutional politics can be significantly enhanced.
With one out of six individuals from the younger demographic facing unemployment due to the unprecedented ongoing pandemic, it is essential to equip them with the skills to successfully manage evolving challenges and the resilience to adapt to future disruptions. The festival aims to do exactly that.
To take part in the festival and panel discussions anyone can register free from the Inspire Bangladesh website-www.inspiringbangladesh.com
