IATA (International Air Transport Association) has expressed its keen interest to provide all kinds of cooperation in further development of Bangladesh’s aviation sector.
The association’s interest has been made evident especially in the field of airport security, customer care and flight safety.
IATA's Regional Vice-President Conrad Fredrick James Clifford showed his association’s interest in Dhaka on Tuesday during a call on Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon at the latter’s secretariat office.
A press release in this regard said the Minister welcomed the IATA's proposal and said the government has taken all possible steps to ensure airport security and flight safety.
The IATA Vice-President said the aviation sector has potential for making huge contribution to the overall economic development of this country.
