A workshop for journalists aiming to protect people from cyber-racketeering and crate awareness among them was held in the capital on Friday.
Cyber Crime Awareness Foundation (CCA Foundation) with the support of Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) organised the half-day workshop at the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB).
28 journalists from different electronic media, newspapers and online news portals took part in the training programme.
Mehedi Hasan, cyber researcher and trainer, discussed over the cyber-racketeering.
Ishrat Parveen, deputy programme manager of the MJF, CCA Foundation president Kazi Mustafiz and secretary Abdullah Hasan, among others, were present on the occasion.
