Administrator of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mark Green will visit Rohingya camps on Tuesday.

Mark Green will arrive in Dhaka on Monday before his journey to Cox's Bazar.

He will make a major announcement on Tuesday at the USAID funded WFP Blanket Supplementary Feeding Program facility at the Balukhali Rohingya Camp in Cox's Bazar.

Green will also visit Myanmar and Thailand until May 23, said the US Embassy in Dhaka.

USAID Senior Deputy Assistant Administrator for Asia Gloria Steele and US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Ambassador Mark Storella will accompany Administrator Green as part of the delegation.

While in Bangladesh and Myanmar, Administrator Green plans to visit several sites where the US government is providing humanitarian assistance to displaced Rohingya and affected host communities.

He will also meet with government officials of Bangladesh.

In Myanmar, the Administrator will meet with civil-society representatives, students, and youth leaders, as well as government officials to discuss steps needed to address the crises in Rakhine State and violence in other areas of the country.

Green will visit Bangkok from May 21 to 22 to meet with USAID Mission Directors from across Asia to discuss the implementation of the President's Indo-Pacific Strategy.
