Afsana Khanam, the widow of US-Bangla plane crash victim pilot Abid Sultan, has passed away at a hospital in Dhaka city.
She breathed her last at the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital on Friday morning, said hospital sources.
Khanam had been admitted to the hospital and put on life support since Sunday, when she had a stroke after hearing about the news of her husband's death.
Her husband Abid sustained severe injuries in the plane crash on March 12 only to be declared by a Kathmandu hospital as dead the next day.
The couple have a 16-year-old son named Tanzid Sultan.
A total of 49 people, including 26 Bangladeshis, died in the Nepal plane crash.
