US-Bangla Plane Crash: 46 relatives of victims off to Kathmandu

A US-Bangla flight left Dhaka for Nepal on Tuesday morning with 46 relatives of the victims who died and injured in Monday's deadly crash of its another flight at Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal.

Md Kamrul Islam, general manager, Marketing Support and PR of US-Bangla Airlines, said a special flight of their airlines carrying the victims' relatives has flown to Kathmandu around 9:02am, according to a UNB report.

The flight, carrying 46 relatives and seven crew members, will reach Kathmandu around 10:30am, he hoped.

At least 50 people died as the aircraft, which was carrying 67 passengers - 32 from Bangladesh, 33 from Nepal and one each from China and the Maldives - crashed in Nepal. There were four crew members on board.
