Two siblings drowned in a pond in Gabtala area of Barisal city on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Miraz, 5, and Mehedi, 6, sons of Ripon Sardar of the area.
Locals said the two minor boys slipped into the pond while playing near it in the evening, UNB reported.
After a hectic search, locals found the floated bodies and took those to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
