A microbus driver and a passenger were killed and six other people were injured as a vehicle hit it on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Bakulnagar area of Raipura upazila in Narsingdi district on Monday morning.
The deceased have been identified as driver Mohsin Miah, 30, and its passenger Jewel, 35, reports UNB.
Kawser, officer-in-charge of Bhairab Highway Police Station, said an unidentified vehicle hit the Narayanganj-bound microbus from Akhaura in the area around 7:00am, leaving the duo dead on the spot and six others injured.
On information, police recovered the bodies.
