Two people have died and two others sustained injuries when a Jashore-bound private car plunged into a roadside ditch on Dhaka-Aricha highway near Bathuli Bus Stand in Dhamrai upazila on early Thursday.
The deceased could not be identified immediately, says a UNB report.
Officer-in-Charge of Dhamrai Police Station, Rezaul Haq said the accident occurring around 5am left two people dead on the spot and two others wounded.
The injured were rushed to Manikganj Sadar Hospital for treatment, the OC added.
