Education Ministry has formed a four-member committee to investigate the allegation of some irregularities in HSC results following a television report.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education on Monday said Additional Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department Md Mahamud-ul-Haq is made the convener of the committee, reports UNB.
The other members of the committee are a professor of Computer Science and Engineering Department (CSE) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Yunus Ali, joint secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division, Ahmad Shamim - Al Razi and Deputy Secretary, Abu Ali Md Sajjad Hossain.
The committee has been asked to submit the report within the next seven working days.
On June 10, Maasranga Television aired a news report over some irregularities of higher secondary school certificate results.
The report claimed that a deputy examination controller of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and a staff of the Board, including some educational institution heads of Uttara area were involved with the alleged wrongdoing.
