Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested at least three suspected activists of banned outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Jamira village in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi district early Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested them with bomb, gun-powder, pistol, and jihadi books, news agency UNB reported quoting RAB-5 sources.
Later, the arrestees were taken to RAB headquarters in Rajshahi. Details in this regard will be disclosed at a press briefing later in the day.
