Three people including a balloon vendor were injured in a gas cylinder blast at Fairdpur Government Rajendrapur College campus here on Saturday morning.
The injured were identified as Azim Talukdar, 67, balloon vendor, his grandson Hridoy Sheikh, 16, and Shamrat, 10.
Quoting witnesses, police said a gas cylinder went off with a big bang around 7:30 am when all the victims were sitting in the college campus just the moment before bringing out the Mangal Shobhajatra leaving them injured, reports UNB.
The injured were taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
