Three people died in a road accident at Raushunia in Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj on Wednesday.
Three others were also injured in the accident.
The accident occurred when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in the area, reports UNB.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Kazi Maksuda Lima, senior assistant superintendent of Munshiganj Police, said the Tongibari-bound ‘SF Paribahan’ bus from Dhaka skidded off the road and fell into the ditch around 4pm as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving six people injured.
The injured were taken to Sirajdikhan Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared three of them dead and referred one to Dhaka for better treatment.
