Summit Group of Bangladesh and Japan's Energy for New Era (JERA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday.
According to the MoU, the JERA will provide assistance and support to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina witnessed the signing ceremony that took place at Hotel New Otani in Tokyo.
Faisal Karim Khan of Summit Group and Toshiro Kodoma of JERA signed the MoU for their respective organisations, reports UNB.
Meanwhile, executive vice president of Japan Bangladesh Medical Association (JBMA) Shakurai Hiroyuki handed over the document of a signed agreement with Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA).
