Sisimpur has attracted huge crowd at children’s corner of Amar Ekushey Book Fair like every year.
Parents gathered Bangla Academy premises with their children on Friday like every day holidays to celebrate the ‘Sishu Prahar’, special time schedule for the children from 11 am to 1 pm.
Some prominent Sisimpur characters including Haloom, Ikri, Tuktuki and Shiku welcomed the children to stage that was decorated colourfully.
Children were seen in making fun with Sisimpur characters while some others found to buy new books from Sisimpur stall.
They also made fun and excitement with other friends in the corner arranged only for them. The parents were seen very happy to be present at this event with their children.
Children, guests and participants also took the opportunity of photo session with characters of the Sisimpur.
On February 1, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the book fair and two-day International Literature Conference on the Bangla Academy premises.
