Former deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank Abu Hena Mohd. Razee Hassan has become the head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) on a contractual basis.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this connection on Monday, said a press release of Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Razee Hasan was serving as the head of the BFIU in addition to his charge as the deputy governor of the central bank while in service.
But after retirement from the deputy government post, he was given the charge of the BFIU.
