Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasts rain or thundershowers throughout the country in 24 hours as of 9:00 am tomorrow (Monday).
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places in Sylhet, Mymensingh, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions,” said BMD official Arifur Rahman today afternoon.
The BMD office also said day temperature may fall by 2-3 degree Celsius and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 34.0 degrees Celsius yesterday (Saturday) at Sylhet while today’s minimum temperature was recorded 16.2 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6:00 am today was recorded 52mm at Srimangal in Sylhet division, according to a BSS report.
The sun sets at 5:22 pm today and rises at 6:03 am tomorrow in the capital.
