Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Sylhet division and at one or two places over Mymensingh, Dhaka and Chittagong divisions in next 24 hours as of 9 am on Sunday.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country while day temperature may rise slightly with a fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius in night during the period, said a met office release in Dhaka Saturday.
Trough of Westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh, the release also said, adding that seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35.0 degrees Celsius yesterday in Rajshahi and today's minimum temperature 15.2 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division, reports BSS.
