Several places across Bangladesh are likely to continue witnessing rainfall in the next 24-hour, said a met office bulletin on Monday.
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind at a few places over Sylhet division and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh & Chattogram divisions.
So, the weather may become cooler due to rain, the BMD said.
However, a mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna and Chuadanga, it said.
The weather may remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, as per the bulletin.
Trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, it said, adding that seasonal low lies over South Bay.
Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it stated.
