Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast light rain in some parts of the country are likely in the next two days commencing from Wednesday.
Moderate to light rainfall may happen between December 25 and 27, on duty meteorologist at the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) told the FE.
The temperature may fall gradually again from December 26, with possibility of cold wave in January, meteorologist of the met office in Dhaka Aftab Uddin told the FE earlier.
It also predicted dry weather with partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing from Tuesday morning.
Besides, moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from Tuesday midnight to Wednesday morning, said a met office release while night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may rise one to two degrees Celsius over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded 27.8 degrees Celsius at Teknaf while the lowest temperature 09.2 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
