Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9:00 am.
"Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, is likely to occur at few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country," said a Met office bulletin.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, reports BSS citing the bulletin.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.0 degree Celsius jointly in Rajshahi and Tarash, while today's minimum temperature was 22.5 degree Celsius in Rajarhat.
The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded at 22 mm in Ishurdi.
