Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested three suspected robbers and seized arms from Madhurchora area under Ukhia upazila in Cox’s Bazar early Sunday.
The arrestees are Anwarul Islam, 28, Nurul Islam Bulu, 30, and Kamal Hossain alias Jasim Uddin, 33, reports UNB.
Tipped off that a gang of robber numbering 10/12 was preparing to commit robbery, a team of RAB-7 conducted the drive around 5:15am and arrested three of them along with 11 firearms, four sharp weapons and eight rounds of bullet, according to a statement.
