The Public Service Commission (PSC) has recommended recruiting some 5,100 senior staff nurses.
The results in this regard were published on Sunday the PSC website. The commission recommended recruiting the nurses under grade-10 of the national pay-scale on the basis of merit and existing quota system, reports BSS.
The PSC issued the circular of recruiting some 4,000 senior staff nurses and 600 midwives in August last year. The written exam for 100 marks was held on February 9 this year.
The successful written examinees later underwent viva voce where 5,100 examinees were selected.
Meanwhile, the PSC suspended its recommendation of 28 candidates due to information confusion and administrative reasons.
