PSC recommends 284 candidates for first-class non-cadre posts

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) on Thursday recommended the recruitment of 284 candidates of the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination with the status of first class non-cadre officials.

The recommendation has been made as per the amended Non-cadre Posts Recruitment Rules 2014, said a PSC handout.

The PSC has also published the registration numbers of the selected candidates for the posts on its website.

Of them, 102 have been selected as social service officers, while 25 made assistant engineers and upazila engineers, 44 categories including 18 assistant surgeon posts under the Ministry of Railways.

PSC Chairman Dr Muhammed Sadique said the candidates have been recommended for the first-class status. Later, candidates will be recommended from the list for second class status.

He also said that a total 2,650 among 3,308 candidates, passed the 36th BCS examination, applied for non-cadre posts.

The final results of the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Examinations were published on October 17, 2017.

Some 2,323 examinees were recommended for various cadre positions, reports UNB.
