Mismanagement causes sufferings to the passengers, who wait for their luggage upon arrival at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, observed Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen.
The minister, arriving from a Europe tour on Sunday, found a huge number of passengers were waiting for their luggage for two hours near the conveyor belt, a spokesperson of the ministry said.
When they complained about their sufferings, the minister directed the concerned airport officials to resolve the problem.
He also talked to the state minister for Civil Aviation Mahbub Ali over the phone.
The state minister assured him that proper actions will be taken to hand over luggage to the passengers soon after their arrival.
