Jatiya Party(JaPa)Chairman HM Ershad has said only his party is able to form a worker-friendly government to ensure the rights of workers.
He said this while addressing a rally organised to mark the historic May Day at the premises of the party's central office in the city on Tuesday.
The former president said, "Only for living, the apparel workers toil for 12 hours daily, but no one bother about where they live or how they live."
He urged urging the working class people to get united and work for their rights.
Criticising the incumbent government, he said, "The 'Digital Bangladesh' has now gone under the grip of drugs while the incidents of rape, terrorism, extortion and killings have raised due to the lack of good governance."
We don't have peace, freedom of speech, democracy, happiness, security while workers have no work, he added, reports UNB.
