Former Chittagong city mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury was buried with full state honours beside his father's grave at Chasma Hill family graveyard in the city on Friday.
His namaz-e-janaza was held after Asr prayers on Laldigi Maidan in the port city.
Mohiuddin Chowdhury passed away at city's Max Hospital early Friday at the age of 74.

Born at Gohira village in Raojan upazila of Chittagong on December 1, 1944, Mohiuddin joined Chhatra League in his school days.
Mohiuddin was elected CCC mayor first in 1994, while for the second time in 2000, and for the third consecutive time in 2005.
