Pointing at the verdict in her graft case to be delivered on Thursday,BNP Chief Khaleda Zia on Saturday called upon her party leaders and activists to stay united and face together any upcoming danger.
"I would like to say I'm always with you and will be with you wherever I stay. Let's face any type of upcoming danger together ...we'll work together in our good days, too," she said.
Khaleda was speaking at the inaugural session of the party's national executive committee's daylong meeting that started at Hotel Le Meridian in the morning.
She further said, "We'll have to be courageous to register our protest against any type of injustice and put up resistance against any injudicious move."
Khaleda, however, asked her party leaders and activists to carry out their protest programme in a peaceful and democratic manner. "I also urge the country's people involved in peaceful programmes of BNP and 20 parties to restore democracy in the country."
The BNP chief promised to evaluate those of her party men who will remain with the party and sincerely work for it during its bad days.
She, however, warned that the BNP leaders who will betray with the party will neither be given any position in the party nor forgiven.
"From today's meeting, I would like to urge all to remain united in any circumstances. There'll be various plots and repressive acts against you. They'll try to harass you in every way but don't get afraid," Khaleda said.
UNB said she also warned that those who will maintain contact with both the government and BNP and betray with the party can easily be identified and they will not be forgiven this time.
