The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has condoled the death of Mohammad Nasim, a senior leader of Bangladesh Awami League.
"The country has lost a dedicated politician and it is an irreparable loss to the nation as late Nasim immensely contributed to the welfare of teeming millions," Sheikh Fazle Fahim, president of the apex trade body said in a condolence message.
" As a son of Captain Mansur Ali, one of the four national leaders of Bangladesh's Liberation War, Mr Nasim will be remembered as a valiant freedom fighter," the FBCCI said.
The FBCCI chief sought the blessings of Almighty Allah for the salvation of the departed soul of Mr Nasim and expressed sympathy to the family members.
