Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has urged Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leaders and activists not to involve in evil activities.
The minister made the call while addressing an exhibition at Shoparjito Shadhinota Sculpture in Dhaka University campus on Saturday.
Kamal said, "BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi earlier said that the celebration of 'graduation of Bangladesh from LDC' was a 'distorted celebration', that is a very shameful remark."
"Bangladesh had secured championship for four terms and 2nd position once in corruption index during BNP tenure but no corruption has touched Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," he added.
BCL organised the programme to mark the 98th birth anniversary of Father of The Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, reports UNB.
BCL President Saifur Rahman Sohag presided over the meeting while National University Vice Chancellor (VC) Harun-Or Rashid, Jagannath University VC Mijanur Rahman and BCL ex-general secretary Mahfuzul Haider Chowdhury Roton, among others, addressed the program.
