BNP starts interviewing nomination seekers

BNP has started interviewing its nomination hopefuls for the 11th parliamentary elections.

The party nomination board, comprising its standing committee members, started the interview with the hopefuls for Rangpur division's Panchagar-1 constituency at BNP chairperson's Gulshan office at 9:40 am on Sunday.

The nomination seekers of Rajshahi division will be interviewed today from 3:00 pm.

The interview of Khulna division's aspirants will start at 9:00 am while that of Barisal division at 3:00 pm on Monday.

Chattogram division's aspirant interview is scheduled to start at 9:00 am on Tuesday while it will be for Cumilla and Sylhet divisions' from 3:00 pm the same day.

The interview of Mymensingh division's aspirants will start at 9:00 am while that of Faridpur division at 3:00 pm on Wednesday. 

BNP sold 4,580 nomination papers to the aspirants who want to contest the 11th parliamentary elections with its tickets, UNB reported.

According to the fresh election schedule, the 11th parliamentary elections will be held on December 30 and the last date for submission of nomination papers ahead of the polls is November 28.
