The information and research sub-committee of the Awami League will hold a national seminar on Padma Bridge in the capital on Saturday.
The seminar will be held at Cirdap auditorium at 10.30 am, reports BSS.
Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will join the seminar as the chief guest while Education Minister Dipu Moni will inaugurate it.
Prime Minister's Economic Affairs Adviser Moshiur Rahman will preside over the event.
State Minister for Planning Dr Samsul Alam, economist Dr Qazi Kholiquzzaman Ahmad, former Chief Information Commissioner Prof Dr Ghulam Rahman, former commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Muhammad Shahabuddin Chuppu and eminent water expert Dr Ainun Nishat will join the event as panellists.
Former Professor of Dhaka University and Awami League’s Information and Research Secretary Dr Selim Mahmud will present a keynote paper on 'Padma Bridge constructed by Sheikh Hasina: A landmark victory of Bangladesh and developing countries'.
Teacher of Dhaka University's Mass Communication and Journalism Department Shabnam Azim will moderate the seminar.
