Awami League announces to hold dialogue with Jatiya Oikyafront

The Awami League has announced to sit in a dialogue with Jatiya Oikyafront leaders over the next general election very soon.

Party's general secretary Obaidul Quader made the announcement on Monday at a press conference at AL president's Dhanmondi office, report UNB and bdnews24.com.

"Awami League has agreed to hold talks with Oikyafront leaders and our President Sheikh Hasina will lead the dialogue," Obaidul Quader said..

He also said the Oikyafront leaders will soon be informed about the date and venue of the dialogue.

Obaidul Quader mentioned that there will be no conditions for the talks.

"The Awami League wants to show that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s door is open to all for talks, he added.  

Earlier on Sunday, Jatiya Oikyafront sent a formal letter to AL president and general secretary to arrange talks ahead of the national polls.
