Police in separate drives from Sunday night to this morning, nabbed 16 persons including 14 warranted accused from different areas of the district.
The accused were picked up from different areas of the district on various charges, said Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Nazim Uddin.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending with different police stations against the arrested persons, the sources added.
The arrestees were sent to jail, reports BSS.
